Purpose: To promote the arts with
young people and to express appreciation for the contributions of young artists to the Twin Valley Players.
Who
is eligible? The scholarships are available to graduating seniors who have been involved in one or more TVP productions.
How much is the scholarship? The amounts vary depending on the senior’s level of involvement
in TVP productions. The individual scholarships have varied from $50 to $1,000.
What is the application
process? A high school senior may pick up an application from their guidance counselor or directly from the TVP Board.
Contact us at TVPTheater@epix.net for information. The completed applications are due by April 1 of the graduation year. The scholarships are typically presented
at the High School Awards program by a TVP Board member.
The actual check will be distributed to the University
in January following the receipt of a letter from the school/college financial aid office verifying that the recipient is
a matriculated student. This letter must be received by December 31 of the graduation year.
